Olivier specializes in the area of regulatory issues and has developed significant expertise in the life sciences and healthcare sectors, in particular as concerns medical devices, pharmaceutical and phytopharmaceutical products, and cosmetics. For over 15 years, he has assisted his clients in the sector with regulatory issues and environmental questions.
His main area of practice involve matters relating to pharmaceutical products advertising, relationships with healthcare practitioners, clinical trials, and advising clients in the context of monitoring by the health authorities.
Olivier is a Doctor at law (magna cum laude) and is ranked among the leading regulatory lawyers in Chamber’s, Legal 500, PLC Which Lawyer, Best Lawyers, and Décideurs Juridiques Finance Droit.
Olivier Lantrès was awarded a first prize by the French Healthcare Law Association (Association française du droit de la santé) for his work. He is a member of the ACIP (pharmaceutical managers association), Interbiotech, and AMIPS (Association of medical doctors in life science companies). He also belongs to an ethics committee in Paris which is responsible for evaluating hospital and industry clinical protocols.
Olivier started his career in 1998 in the Paris office of Price Waterhouse Coopers before joining Proskauer Rose LLP in 2005. Olivier joined Fieldfisher as a partner in 2008.
In addition to his native French, Olivier is fluent in English.
